My Homemade Chicken-Garlic Soup 🧄🍗
My Homemade Chicken-Garlic Soup
( makes around 5 small servings, 3 large servings )
The first time I made this was when I was hungry one day, Mom and Dad weren't home yet, and I decided to make my own soup. I got together a bundle of things, including chicken chunks and chicken broth, carrots, etc., and I pulled it off! I don't remember that Mom was exactly happy that I had made a mess in the kitchen, but she tried the soup anyway...and then said that the soup was good!I was really proud that it had worked and that she liked the soup. I hope that this recipe will have the same result with you... except for the mess part!
1 ( or 2 ) cans Kirkland Brand chicken chunks
1 ( or 2, depending on how many cans of chicken chunks you use) cans of chicken broth
1/2 cup baby carrots, cut into small pieces
Turkish Bay leaves
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/3 cup celery, cut into small pieces
1/2 cup noodles, optional
1/3 cup cut potatoes
Pinch of salt
1. Pour broth into a large pot and place on stove. Meanwhile, strain chicken chicken chunks and cut vegetables to put into the broth. When the broth starts to boil, add chicken, celery, carrots, and potatoes to the pot.
2. If you chose to add noodles, add them immediately after adding the vegetables to the broth. Then, add garlic powder to the pot. Take two Turkish Bay leaves and add them to the pot. These will add good flavor to the soup. Wait for about 6 minutes for the soup to finish up, testing to see if the noodles are cooked through.
3. As soon as the noodles are cooked through, add the salt and stir thoroughly. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
